1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Forge Lab Brain ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the forgelab.one website and the AI-powered development platform (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree that you have read, understood, and accept all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the Service and must discontinue use immediately.
2. AI Generated Content
By using the Service, you agree that:
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and securing any code generated by the Platform before deploying it to production.
- We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the generated content.
- We are not liable for any damages, data loss, or system failures resulting from the use of code generated by our AI agents.
3. User Accounts & Security
To access certain features (Brain Mode, Terminal), you must register for an account.
- Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account details.
- BYOK Keys: If you use the "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) feature, you are responsible for the validity and usage costs of your external API keys (e.g., OpenRouter). We encrypt these keys but cannot be held liable if you expose them elsewhere.
- Unauthorized Access: You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds
We utilize Stripe for secure payment processing.
4.1 Subscriptions (BYOK Mode)
The BYOK tier is a monthly subscription service. You will be billed automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Settings page. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for the first month of a new subscription if the service does not meet your expectations.
4.2 Token Credits (Pro Mode)
Pro users purchase "Forge Lab Tokens" (FLT) to pay for AI usage.
- Non-Transferable: Tokens cannot be transferred to other accounts.
- Refunds: Unused token packages are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Partially used packages are non-refundable.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use the Service for any purpose other than that for which we make the Service available. Prohibited activities include:
- Malware Generation: Using the AI to generate viruses, worms, ransomware, or any malicious code.
- System Abuse: Attempting to bypass rate limits, reverse engineer the platform, or flood our servers with requests.
- Illegal Acts: Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- Your Content: You retain full ownership of the code, files, and projects you create using Forge Lab Brain. We claim no intellectual property rights over your output.
- Platform Rights: We own the Forge Lab interface, the "Brain" orchestration logic, the agent personalities, and the underlying platform code.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forge Lab Brain and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any content obtained from the Service (including AI-generated code);
